Alyssum Carpet of Snow [ Lobularia Maritima ] is outstanding, quick flowering, low border plant. This fragrant garden favorite produces masses of crisp white blooms. Flowers are pure white florets, 1/4 inches wide, in 1-2 inch wide clusters. The plant is old-fashioned sweet, honey-like fragrance and delicate beauty. Early-blooming plants blanket the ground with thimble-shaped clusters of pure-white blossoms all season.
Alyssum Carpet of Snow [ Lobularia Maritima ] is low spreading compact plant, 4-6 inches high, and 12-15 inches across, and it is densely covered with sweetly-scented, white flowers. Leaves are medium green in color. Very free flowering. Perfect for lining walkways, borders, edgings, in rock gardens, between paving stones, and for containers or in window boxes. The plant is ideal for combining with other annuals in flower beds and baskets.
The plant attracts butterflies and bees.
