The plant is tender perennial vine with large, heart shaped, bright green leaves and showy, trumpet shaped heavenly blue flowers. Flowers are prolific and downright gorgeous, and the vine is immensely versatile as an ornamental. Morning Glory Heavenly Blue [Ipomoea Tricolor] is usually grown as an annual vine and the plant is excellent re-seeder - if you plant it once you may never have to plant it again. In warm to hot weather, a young plant or seedling can grow prodigiously and cover an arbor, fence, trellis or other support in record time. The plant is invaluable for covering an unsightly fence or creating seasonal screening as a living wall. Ease of cultivation and speed of growth provide quick gratification to the impatient gardener. For this reason, morning glories are recommended for a child's gardening project. This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and birds. We do not ship these seeds to Australia and New Zealand.
